The Liaison Council for Drought Management of the Tonegawa River System* announced that it came to an entire cancellation of the water intake restriction at 9:00 a.m. on September 2nd (Wed) because the water storage volume of the 8 dams upstream on the Tonegawa River system has been recovering.
In response to this announcement, the Drought Management Headquarters of Tokyo Metropolitan Government Bureau of Waterworks, which was installed on June 14 (Tue), decided its dissolution owing to the entire cancellation of the water intake restriction at 9:00 a.m. on September 2nd.
We greatly appreciate the Tokyoites' long-time cooperation for water-saving.
In the future, we will also expect the Tokyoites to comprehend and cooperate with daily water-saving so that a finite amount of water resources would be used effectively.
