Thank You for Your Cooperation for Water-Saving

The water storage volume of those dams on the Tonegawa River system which are equivalent to approximately 80 % of the water sources for the Tokyo Water has been getting less and less.
As approximately 70 % of the water usage of the Tokyo Water is spent at home, water-saving by each Tokyoite at home is significantly helpful.
Your cooperation for water-saving would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for Saving Water !! In order to use limited water resources as long as possible, please cooperate in further water-saving. Car wash Tooth brushing Kitchen Bath Shower Face/hand-wash Do not leave the water running. Open and close the faucet frequently. Reuse a half of the remaining water for washing and cleaning to save about 90 liters. Put water in a cup to save about 5 liters. If you leave the water running for 5 minutes to wash dishes, etc., you’ll eventually use no less than 60 liters. If you leave the water running for 3 minutes, the water volume becomes about 35 liters. Put water in a bucket to save about 60 liters.
